Xiaomi Launches 4G-Enabled Redmi Note Prime In India.

The Redmi Note Prime will go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 am onwards (as per IST) only on Amazon India and Mi.com.




According to an official statement by Xiaomi, the Redmi Note Prime is the second 'Made in India' smartphone. Earlier in August, the Chinese handset maker had launched the Redmi 2 Prime that was also manufactured in Andhra Pradesh's Sri City in collaboration with with Foxconn.

Expressing the excitement to roll out the second 'Made in India' offering to Mi fans, Manu Jain, India Head, Xiaomi, said, "We are glad to provide our Mi fans an opportunity to upgrade to an even more powerful smartphone with an expanded memory and dual-SIM capabilities. The 3100mAh high-capacity battery, coupled with MIUI optimizations, has enabled Redmi Note Prime to achieve the most impressive battery performance yet."

As far as specifications are concerned, Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI 7. The handset is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS display with a HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution. Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, smartphone carries 16GB storage (expandable to 32GB)

Moving on to the connectivity options, Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime comes with Bluetooth v4, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0 as well as USB-OTG.

On camera front, this smartphone, which weighs 185 grams, consists of a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter for selfie freaks.
